Bold and daring, Toyota has taken on-road performance to the next level with TRD variations of both the Camry and Avalon. Year after year, Toyota continues to pull out all the stops for its models, and we are thrilled with this recent inclusion. Beginning with performance elements, the Camry TRD features a 310-horsepower, 3.5-liter V6 engine and 8AT with sport mode and paddle shifters. Drivers can take advantage of matte-black 19-inch wheels that are wider yet lighter than those on the Camry XSE model. When mated to the Bridgestone Potenza tires, drivers can enjoy better grip, a lighter feeling, and better turn response. The chassis of the Camry TRD includes stiffer coil springs and sway bars for improved stiffness across the board. TRD shock absorbers are also included to allow for better control and enhanced ride quality.
In terms of design, the 2020 Toyota Camry TRD has a gloss black front grille with a sport mesh insert and unique exterior badging as well as polished stainless steel TRD exhaust tips. Shoppers can choose from three two-tone colors—Supersonic Red, Windchill Pearl, and Celestial Silver Metallic—and one single-tone color—Midnight Black Metallic—for the exterior paint. On the inside, the cabin features Black Sport SofTex®-trimmed seats with red accents and red TRD badging on the headrests. Stitching on the leather steering wheel and the seat belts also carry along the striking red theme.
