The design of the 2020 Toyota Yaris Hatchback combines sportiness with practicality. The sportiness comes courtesy of the hexagon lower front grille, sharp-eyed headlights, “cab-rearward” design, and “bulldog-like” stance. The short length and small turning circle of the Yaris Hatchback make it easy to navigate city streets and fit into tight parking spots, while the trunk area offers a cargo capacity of 15.9 cu-ft. The Yaris Hatchback is filled with a liberal amount of sound-absorbing materials, resulting in a very quiet ride.
The 2020 Yaris Hatchback is powered by a 1.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine, which generates 106 horsepower, with an estimated highway fuel economy of 40 mpg. The engine is paired with the smooth-shifting 6-speed automatic transmission, which has a Sport mode for quick acceleration.
The all-new Yaris Hatchback is a very high-tech car. Multimedia technologies include a 7” touchscreen display audio system, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration, and USB ports. On the safety front, the Yaris Hatchback offers safety-enhancing driving assistance technologies like Automatic High Beams and the Low-speed Pre-collision Safety System.
