Making its debut at the 2017 Consumer Electronics Show, Toyota’s Entune 3.0 introduces a new level of automotive technology aimed at improving convenience and entertainment on the road. Toyota is already known for offering innovative features, so Entune 3.0, and the elements it offers, bring Toyota another step ahead of the competition. Here’s what you need to know about Toyota Entune 3.0 and its availability in the new 2018 Camry and other members of the 2018 model lineup.

Perhaps the most exciting addition for Entune 3.0 is a WiFi hotspot by Verizon. Toyota models that are equipped with the hotspot can connect up to five devices at a time, allowing riders to utilize the internet while on the go, rather than using up their phone’s data. The WiFi hotspot will also pull in real-time map updates to the vehicle’s navigation system.
Entune 3.0 offers an improved mobile app that gives Toyota owners the ability to control certain features remotely as well as set boundaries or speed limits for drivers. This feature is especially helpful for teen drivers or people borrowing your vehicle, since it will send an alert to the owner’s phone if the boundary is crossed or limit is exceeded.
With Entune 3.0, all Toyota Entune units will come with the full App Suite, which includes features like Pandora, Yelp, iHeart Radio, and Slacker. Previously, this suite of elements was only available on the top-of-the-line Entune system.
Entune 3.0 is making its debut on the 2018 Toyota Camry, but it is expected to be available on most new Toyota models by the end of 2017. If you would like to get behind the wheel and experience the new and improved features of Entune 3.0, we invite you to check out our new Toyota inventory and schedule a test drive at your convenience.
