PCS detects the vehicle in front of you. If it senses a potential frontal collision, it warns you with an audio and visual alert and prompts you to take action. The system may use Brake Assist to apply additional braking, or it may even automatically apply the brakes if you fail to respond.
If LDA senses the vehicle is unintentionally veering from its lane, the system alerts you both audibly and visually so you can steer back into your lane. Vehicles equipped with TSS-P and Electronic Power Steering may also offer small corrective steering to help keep the vehicle in its lane.
AHB uses an in-vehicle camera to scan the road and detect headlights of oncoming vehicles and taillights of vehicles ahead. Based on that information, the system automatically switches between low beams and high beams to help enhance visibility.
DRCC not only maintains a set speed on the highway but also maintains a set distance behind the car in front of you and adjusts your speed accordingly.
