On Saturday, September 1 (as well as other Saturdays throughout the summer), the Vacaville Farmers Market is taking place at Andrews Park. The market is open from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. and features a variety of fresh and organically grown produce on top of live entertainment and other vendors.
During the Saturday and Sunday of Labor Day weekend, Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is hosting Festival Latino. Visitors can celebrate the rich Hispanic culture along with a taste of Latin flair in the form of delicious foods and live entertainment.
If you’d like to start out your Labor Day holiday on an active note, sign up for the Davis Labor Day Run, which includes a 5K, 10K, and half-mile Kids Fun Run. The races take place on Monday, September 3 beginning at 8:00 a.m. with the start and finish line at Central Park in Davis.
