Unveiled yesterday at the 2018 Chicago Auto Show, the 2019 Toyota Tacoma, Tundra, and 4Runner TRD Pro models certainly made a splash. When will the 2019 Tacoma TRD Pro be available?
The new Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro is projected to roll onto dealership lots beginning in Fall 2018. At that time drivers will have the opportunity to get behind the wheel and experience its new and improved elements firsthand. In the meantime, here’s what to expect from the 2019 Tacoma TRD Pro.
New design and features of the 2019 Tacoma TRD Pro
In terms of design and performance, there’s a lot to love about the 2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro. Let’s take a closer look at some of its notable elements.
TRD Desert Air Intake: All-new for 2019, this available feature (pictured below) takes over for the engine air intake while riding off-road to help improve longevity and overall engine health. Not to mention, it adds to the Tacoma’s rugged exterior look.
Color Options: Super White, Midnight Black Metallic, Voodoo Blue (TRD Pro exclusive)
2.5-inch TRD Pro-exclusive Fox Internal Bypass shocks: With bypass zones INSIDE the shocks on both front and rear suspension
Other key exterior elements include an updated front skid plate with TRD red lettering, a cat-back TRD exhaust with new Black Chrome tip accent, TRD Pro badging, projector-beam headlights with black sport bezels, Rigid Industries LED fog lights, black TOYOTA front grille, 16-inch TRD Pro wheels, and a track that is 1-inch wider at both the front and rear for added stability.
In addition to these notable design elements and features, the 2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro also comes with Entune Premium JBL Audio with Integrated Navigation and App Suite, the Star Safety System, and Toyota Safety Sense P.
