Which sedan is better: Camry or Accord?

One of the big reasons people seek the upgrade and go up to a crossover or SUV like the RAV4 is the ability to get all-wheel drive. It’s definitely a reason not to get an Accord if that’s a feature that you want. However, you can get the Camry with AWD on not one but five trim levels. Not to mention, you can get that all-wheel drive with up to 205 horsepower on those trims which is more than the 192 horsepower that the Accord provides on all but its top two trim levels.

In terms of horsepower, the Camry can really deliver with its three V6 trim levels. The TRD, XLE V6, and XSE V6 utilize a 3.5-liter V6 that is coupled to a smooth and efficient 8-speed automatic transmission. This engine also produces 267 pound-feet of torque making for a snappy and fast drive.

The Camry has a ton of available features including an advanced heads-up display. This puts important information right in your line of sight keeping those eyes closer to the road. This feature is available on the Camry but not available on any of the Accord trims.

In terms of efficiency, the base models of the two sedans come close to one another with the Accord beating the Camry by 2 mpg in the city and the Camry coming out on top by 1 mpg on the highway. However, the Camry provides more fuel capacity giving you more time in between fill-ups.
