2020 Toyota Prius and Other Toyota Hybrids Battery Warranty Coverage
With its lineup of eco-friendly and efficient hybrid vehicles, such as the iconic Toyota Prius and all-new Corolla Hybrid, Toyota continues to be the automotive leader for hybrid technology. Prospective car-buyers now have another reason to buy a Toyota hybrid vehicle, for Toyota increased the battery warranty coverage for all of its 2020 hybrid models.
Toyota Battery Warranty for Hybrids: 10 years/150,000 miles
The battery warranty coverage for 2020 Toyota hybrid models is for 10 years/150,000 miles, whichever comes first. This is an increase of 2 years/50,000 miles over the 8-years/100,000 miles battery warranty coverage for 2019 Toyota hybrid models. Components that are covered by the battery warranty include the Hybrid Battery Control Module (battery voltage sensor), Hybrid Control Module (power management control module), and the Inverter with Converter.
