- Before you can adjust the outside mirrors, make sure your RAV4 ignition is in the ACC or ON position.
- You’ll find two switches on the dashboard to the left of the steering column. One will have L and R on opposite sides, and one will display the word Mirror with arrows on all four edges.
- Press the L side of the first button to select the driver’s side mirror.
- Lean your head to the left until it is almost touching your window.
- Use the larger button with the arrows to adjust the mirror to your liking. Make sure you move it to the left until you can barely see the side of the vehicle.
- Press the R side of the smaller button to select the passenger side mirror.
- Lean your head to the right until it is above the center console.
- Use the arrow button to adjust the mirror as you wish and move it to the right until you can barely see the side of the vehicle.
- Return the L and R button to the center so you don’t accidentally move the outside mirrors.
- When you sit up straight, it might take some time to get used to the new position of your side-view mirrors.
