Mechanical Enhancements
As you can see from the chart above, the 2016 Tacoma has a higher starting MSRP than the 2015 model, perhaps due to some impressive upgrades, such as improvements to the truck’s engine options. Like the 2015 Tacoma, the 2016 model offers two different engines for drivers to choose from. For the 2016 Tacoma, however, the 2.7-liter four-cylinder option has been improved with more power and better efficiency than its predecessor. The 2016 truck also has an all-new Atkinson-cycle 3.5-liter V6 engine, a refined suspension, and Crawl Control for crossing difficult off-road terrain.

From the outside, the 2016 Tacoma has a more muscular look than the 2015 model as well as available LED Daytime Running Lights for better visibility on the road. The 2016 model has a lighter and stronger frame than its 2015 counterpart and an integrated GoPro mount to easily capture all of your greatest adventures. The vehicle’s luxurious interior has been refreshed for the 2016 model year, and drivers can now take advantage of the new available Qi wireless charging.
