If you are interested in purchasing or leasing a new Toyota Highlander, but you aren’t sure which trim level is right for you, then you have come to the right place! The Highlander comes in five varying grades, including the Hybrid Limited, and we have chosen to highlight some similarities and differences between the first two trim levels–the 2016 Toyota Highlander LE and LE Plus.

The 2016 Highlander LE comes standard with a 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine, but drivers can upgrade to a 3.5-liter V6 engine, which is what comes in the Highlander LE Plus. Both trim levels and engine options are paired with a six-speed automatic transmission for smooth, seamless shifting. The V6-equipped models offer either front-wheel or all-wheel drivetrains, so you can choose which one is right for you based on your regular driving habits and terrains.
